How sealed-bid sell offers work

How a BreezeWish sell offer works for GPU hardware: a hidden reserve, more than one bid, a partial award, and what bidders can and cannot see.

A sell offer on BreezeWish is a lot you post so buyers can bid. For data center GPUs it sits next to the sell catalog, which is a listed price, and next to buy requests, which are the buyer's demand. This guide is the sealed-bid path: you set a reserve, buyers bid, and you award. The public board does not show the reserve [S1]. If the hardware is coming out of a cluster, start with how to decommission it.

What you publish

You publish a title, a quantity, and the hardware attributes: model, form factor, memory, condition, location in the United States, and the warranty you are offering. You can allow a partial award, so more than one bid can take part of the quantity. You set a hidden reserve per GPU if you want a floor. That reserve is stored for you. It is not printed on the public lot, on the model page, or in the page's structured data.

Write the model the way a buyer searches. "H100 SXM5 80GB" matches the H100 SXM page. "H100" alone matches nothing. A clear lot gets bids from people who want that part. A vague lot gets questions, or silence.

What bidders see

Bidders see the public description and the quantity still open. They do not see your reserve while it is hidden. They do not see other buyers' bids. When they bid below the reserve, the system can tell that bidder the bid is below the reserve. It does not tell them the reserve number, and it does not tell the rest of the market. Do not type the reserve into the title or the notes. If you do, you have published it yourself.

Partial awards

If you allow a partial award, you can give some of the GPUs to one bidder and some to another, down to the minimum and the step you set on the line. Each award becomes its own deal. Quantity you award comes off the lot. Quantity you do not award stays open until you close the lot or the deadline passes. Closing the lot rejects the bids you did not award.

Use a partial award when the lot is a count of identical cards and you are willing to split it. Do not use it when the value is the complete HGX board. Splitting eight modules off a board you described as one assembly is how disputes start. If the board must stay together, set the lot so the award is the whole quantity.

Awarding below the reserve

You can award a bid under the reserve only if you confirm that choice. The confirm step is there so a click does not silently accept a price you said you would not take. If you confirm, the deal is at the bid, not at the reserve. The reserve was a floor for your own decision. It is not a price the buyer agreed to pay.

After you award

The award follows the same path as accepting an offer. A hardware award opens a compliance case and waits until the checks are done or waived. The buyer and the seller still have to complete business verification, restricted-party screening, and an end-user certification before the deal proceeds. BreezeWish does not take title and does not hold the funds. Payment, the bill of sale, and the freight are between you and the buyer.

The seller fee is the fee shown for this market on the fees page, including any launch promo that still applies to your listing [S2]. Do not copy a percentage into your listing text. The fee page is the one that stays current.

Catalog versus sell offer

Use the sell catalog when you want to publish a price and take a buyer at that price. Use a sell offer when you want bids and you want the floor kept off the board. You can run both for different lots. Do not put the same serials in two open lots.

What not to put in the lot

Do not put another party's customer names, a bank account, or a reserve figure in the description. Do not write that BreezeWish will hold the funds. Independent escrow services are the parties' choice, arranged by you and the buyer, outside the marketplace.

FAQ

Can bidders see my reserve?

Not while you keep it hidden. The public lot and the model pages do not show it. A bidder who is below the reserve can be told that they are below it, without the number.

Can I award two buyers?

Yes, when the lot allows a partial award and the quantities fit the remaining lot, the minimum, and the step. Each award is its own deal.

Who am I selling to?

You are selling to the buyer whose bid you award. BreezeWish is the venue. It is not a party to the sale and it never holds funds or hardware.
