    EPC

EPC on this board is a turnkey plant contract. One contractor designs and builds the plant. The owner publishes the scope on an RFP, and that contractor is the party asked to deliver the plant described there.

Under that turnkey contract, one contractor is responsible for the design and the build named in the scope. The owner remains responsible for items the RFP lists as exclusions. The contract model on the RFP form for this pattern is lump sum turnkey.

Typical deliverables are the design, procurement of equipment the owner is not furnishing, construction, and commissioning through the target commercial operation date. Inclusions and exclusions say which of those sit in the contract. The form's example inclusion is engineering, and its example exclusion is land.

An owner chooses EPC when one firm should design and build the plant under a single contract. On BreezeWish the award, the contract, and the deal stay separate records. Equipment for the plant is sourced in Modular power equipment.
